TNT WAS A BLAST! (or TNT WAS DYNAMITE!)
David Phillips
MS Teen Bible Quiz Director
The final quiz meet of the season was held on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene University during TNT (Top Nazarene Talent).
Representing the Mississippi District A-Level team were Austin Farnham (Brookhaven), Jacob Mason (Emmanuel), Grant Smith (Graceway), Christian Mallard (Crossroads) and Ben Ferguson (Philadelphia).
The Mississippi B-Level all-stars were Shelby Carroll, Dustin Cooley, Corey Morgan and Justine Hayes from Crossroads and Heather Rego from Brookhaven.
Without a doubt, these teens exceeded all expectations as they represented Mississippi with their Christ-like character, excellent sportsmanship and deep knowledge of the Gospel of Luke. Additionally, the team achieved several “best ever” and “first’s” for the Mississippi District:
· Best win/loss record for A-Level and B-Level teams in recorded history.
· Austin Farnham and Shelby Carroll finished in the Top 20 of their respective divisions. Austin qualified to compete in the A-Level Quiz Off.
· The B-Level team qualified to compete in the Playoff Tournament for the first time ever! The A-Level team just missed the Playoffs - by 10 points!
· Every quizzer scored points!
Below is a summary of the results:
A-Level Team: Tied for 5th Place, 4W-5L

Great job by everyone! This was a fantastic finish to a wonderful year.
Next year, we are studying 1 and 2 Corinthians. We will again have all your favorites: 3-team quizzing, QuizzerPins, new and more awards, YouTube award ceremony and music videos from the quiz meet, meet-ups with all your District friends, making new friends and a deeper relationship with Christ by spending time in His Word! We’ll also be experimenting with live video-streaming of some of the matches!
Stay tuned, we will be having the preseason quiz at Emmanuel in August. For those who want an early start, I’ll be posting some practice questions on the Study Tools page throughout the summer.
